Stephen attended Southern Connecticut State University where he obtained his undergraduate degree in Social Work providing him with the foundational tools to begin this work. Stephen is a certified Youth Life Coach and also obtained his Master of Social Work degree from the University of Saint Joseph. He began his career working in the school system for students with special needs. His work includes, juvenile justice center, juvenile detention center, foster care agency, job training facility for students 16-25 and most currently serving at a Middle School as School Social Worker. He provides over 20 years of experience with at-risk youth, families, community partners and faith based agencies. His skill set includes supporting youth and young adults with conflict resolution, anger management, anxiety, depression, self harming behaviors, low self esteem, low motivation, poor decision making, trauma and more. He seeks to work with adolescents and emerging adults, offering a combination of evidence based psychotherapy, helping them get back to normalcy and begin moving onto thriving.
His overarching mission is to promote self-determination, values-based goal pursuit, evidence-based decision-making, and psychologically safe work environments that foster well-being. Stephen approaches his work as a social responsibility initiative to ensure those he supports walk away with more knowledge of the biopsychosocial contributors to thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that affords them the opportunity to discover the answers within. Ebonie is a native of Hartford CT and a proud mother of two amazing sons and a youth cheerleading coach. She attended the University of Connecticut where I obtained my bachelor’s degree in Psychology. A few years later, Ebonie started her journey at Springfield College where she obtained her master’s degree in Social Work. She began her clinical career as a crisis clinician for Emergency Mobile Psychiatric Services (EMPS). From there, Ebonie became a clinician at an outpatient clinic providing therapy to children and their families. The majority of Ebonie's Social Work career has been spent at the Department of Children and Families where she was responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of children while assessing and advocating for the needs of their families. Currently, Ebonie is a Family Relations Counselor with the Judicial Branch of the State of Connecticut providing negotiation and mediation services for issues pertaining to custody and divorce.
Ebonie has over 10 years of experience providing counseling and intensive case management to children, adults, and families in various settings including in homes, in schools, and in the community. She has experience working with a variety of issues including trauma, life changes/adjustments, parenting, and relationships.
Ebonie believe in empowering every individual to become their best self and believe we as human beings have the innate ability to be resilient and overcome any and every obstacle as long as we have the proper guidance and support.

Alexa's goal as a social worker is to empower, support and encourage people to be the best versions of themselves. Life has a way of disturbing our peace of mind, causing feelings of guilt, shame and failure which take over and minimize all the positive things we have accomplished. Sometimes we all need encouragement, validation and motivation, while in a safe space to voice those thoughts and feelings. Her aim is to help people make these situations better, while providing a nonjudgmental, client centered, culturally responsive approach. Alexa encourages her clients to be an active participant in all areas of their treatment.

Levar, born and raised in Hartford, CT, is a graduate of Eastern Connecticut State University where he received his Bachelor of Science in Sports and Leisure Management with a minor in sociology in 2012. After discovering the need for male Clinicians and the gap this created with men seeking therapy, Levar switched gears to pursue his passion and serve in this capacity. In 2016, he obtained his Masters degree in Social Work from UCONN.
Levar held positions within the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hartford as Bloomfield School Director and Director of Youth Services where he oversaw all school partnerships, DCF and special initiatives. Currently, Levar is a high school social worker at Achievement First Hartford High School. Outside of his occupation Levar is a trustee at Seedtime and Harvest Ministries, Certified personal trainer at Diligence training, motivational speaker, and certified coach who values dedication, service, and excellence.

Lisa was born and raised in Jamaica, migrating to the US at 14 years old. Lisa holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Hartford and a Master's Degree in Social Work from Springfield College. Her work experience includes working with children in the juvenile justice system, the YMCA and at the Institute of Living; working with young adults and adults at The Institute of Living (inpatient care) and at Trinity College (outpatient therapy). Additionally, Lisa provided therapeutic mentoring services for children receiving services through the CT Department of Children and Families. Lisa is passionate about serving others and has a special interest in trauma focused therapy and utilizes an Interpersonal person-centered approach.
As a mother of an autistic adult son, Lisa believes her greatest accomplishment is raising him. She is passionate about sharing her successful journey with him and enjoys working with and guiding parents with children on the spectrum.

Rebecca is an experienced Social Worker who received her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Connecticut.
Initially, after receiving her Bachelor degree in Urban and Community Studies, she immediately joined the CT Army National Guard where she served as a Human Resources Specialist for 10 years. During that time, she worked with active service members and civilians of diverse backgrounds to navigate personal challenges, intersectional identities, stress management, and access to resources.
As a civilian, Rebecca spent the last eight years up through current date, working in a nonprofit mental health agency; supporting those with co-occurring disorders, addiction recovery, building family relationships, and group facilitation.
She has supported many individuals in working through life's challenges and is passionate about ensuring the mental and emotional safety for people of all backgrounds in an ever-changing world.
